I found my love for singing in the 8th grade at Eugene Christian School under the musical direction of Laurie Guttormsen. I started private lessons at 14 and have been taking them ever since.

Listening to Evynne and Erica converse over walkie talkies on the way down to Berkley (Fall '04). Those two were hilarious! I was laughing so hard. "And on the right you'll see the hills where they filmed the Sound of Music." "It was the best in all the land!"(You had to be there.)

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens...just kidding...no, but really I do love that movie, and I also love swimming outside, biking, badminton, watching a good chick flick like "Kate and Leopold" with my best friend and a huge bowl of popcorn, my mom's Filipino cooking, laughing so hard I can't stand, playing "Apples to Apples" with my crazy family, hugs, warm scarves, Mercy Me's music, the group Avalon, my friends...the list goes on and on...

[Personal Statement]
I would never have been able to experience how wonderful life can be if it were not for the undying love and support of my parents. I owe them the world. And nothing else compares to the love of my Lord Jesus, who gave me life and guides me through each day. I owe Him everything.
